This Rotary year, the Rotaract Club of Barbados is moving with intention. Under the theme "Serving With Purpose, Growing With Passion," our incoming board is committed to building on the club's legacy of service while investing in the growth of every member who walks through our doors.
Leading the way is President Omar Worrell, supported by Vice President Leah Browne and Treasurer Jamar Mayers. Their leadership sets the tone for a year that is deliberate; service that is planned with purpose, and growth that is personal, not incidental.
Driving the club's pillars of service are Club Service Director Rashanna Vaughn, International Service Director Melcia Rogers, and Community Service Director Zachary McCollin, each bringing fresh energy and clear vision to how we engage with one another and our communities. Public Image Director Chanda Mwansa leads the charge on how our stories are told, ensuring the work we do is seen, heard, and felt beyond club walls. Membership Committee Chair Charmaine Hinds turns the focus inward, strengthening the fellowship within our club and ensuring every new member feels at home from day one.
We're guided by Immediate Past President Christina Ruck, whose wisdom and experience remain a cornerstone for us.
This year's theme is more than words on a page. It's a challenge to every member, every committee, every project team. To show up with intention. To serve communities that need us. To grow in ways that outlast our time in Rotaract.
