Making Connections is a joint project between the Rotary Club of Luton Someries and a Toastmasters Club named International Orator under the alliance of rotary international and toastmasters international. It is a Series of Round Table virtual debates addressing current issues impacting societies worldwide. Making Connections is the brainchild of DTM Dr Violet Cuffy from Rotary club of Luton Someries with creative support from Secretary Ermine Darroux of Rotary Club of Barbados who are both part of Toastmasters Club International Orators.

Youth Leaders in the Rotaract and Toastmasters Programmes around the world shared their challenges and success stories in current era of Covid-19. This was the 2nd event in a series of 6 shows. IPP Kareem French represented the Rotaract view and was joined by the following panelists:

  • Irini Kassas, Vice Chair of International Newcastle INC (Australia)
  • Amine Bejhih, PhD Candidate, University of Bedfordshire (Morocco)
  • Emily Stevenson, Co-Founder of Beach Guardian (United Kingdom)
